Governor Soludo threatens to arrest Anambra girls not wearing bra, panties

Anambra State governor has allegedly issued a warning to girls in his domain to wear their bra and panties otherwise they would be arrested.
A video shared on X platform had an official of a security group making a public announcement claiming that he has been directed by the governor has given the order to arrest any lady not properly kitted with underwear.
However, the Anambra authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the matter.
This announcement has received a lot of reactions on social media.
A notable one was that of a former senator, Shehu Sani, from Kaduna State.
Sani questioned how security personnel would ensure that women comply with the directive and argued whether the rule would apply to men as well.
He shared his thoughts via a post on his X handle.
The post read, “Anambra’s Bra and Pant law; I don’t know if the pant law is applicable to men and how can the security outfit verify ladies compliance??”
