Women in Rivers State continue to march out in protest against the suspension governor Siminalayi Fubara following the state of emergency declared by President Bola Tinubu.
The women under aegis of Rivers Women United for Sim (RWUS) were seen Thursday in Port Harcourt calling for the restoration of peace in Rivers State and the reinstatement of suspended Governor Fubara.
The protest, which began along the major road, and advanced to the Rivers State Government House, featured placards with bold inscriptions such as “Bring back Fubara”, “Save our democracy”, “Is the law different for Rivers State?”, and “God of justice, arise for Rivers State.”
Meanwhile, sole administrator Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas rtd joined other State governors at the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting presided over by Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
