England striker Harry Kane finally won his first trophy as German giants Bayern Munich emerged champions of the 2025 Bundesliga.
Kane endured 24 hours wait after RB Leipzig forced Bayern to a 3-3 draw on Saturday, but on Sunday he was happy to know his club are champions after Bayer Leverkusen fell to a 2-2 draw at Freiburg. It’s Bayern’s 34rd triumph, and the first of Kane’s career.
The striker was quick to take to social media, sharing a post on X, of a trophy emoji. He would then post a video of himself singing Queen’s hit “We are the Champions”.
Kane played almost 700 games for club and country before achieving the feat. He joined Bayern from boyhood club Spurs in 2023 and is on track to become the first player to end his first two Bundesliga seasons as the competition’s top scorer.
