Two women who wanted to prove to their husband, they could satisfy his libido and prevent him from marrying a third wife have landed in hospital.
According to reports the co-wives who are residents of Dakwa community, Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), gobbled a herbal mixture popularly known as “Kayna Mata,” but needed medical attention due to the side effect of the brew.
The took the action after their husband identified as Musa Muhammed brought in a third wife since he felt the first two could no longer match up with his appetite for sex. While at a different location with his new wife he got notified about the medical situation of his two wives.
“I was called from my main house that my two wives were not feeling fine because I passed the night at a different house where my new bride is residing,” Muhammad said.
“I rushed back and found them rolling on the ground in pain, complaining of stomach issues.”
After a local nurse’s treatment failed to alleviate their symptoms, Muhammad took the women to a private clinic in Madalla, Niger State, where they were diagnosed with internal organ damage allegedly caused by the herbal mixture.
They underwent surgery and were discharged on Monday after nearly a week of treatment.
