CAA U-20, U-18 calling

Journalists wishing to cover the events of the U18/U20 CAA Championship can now log on with their details to get accredited for the competition scheduled for July 16-20 at the MKO Abiola Sports Arean Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to the Local Organising Committe the media accreditation is now open to local and foreign journalists, hoping to travel to Abeokuta to witness the Championships, which promise to be an exciting celebration of sports and community, will bring together athletes, officials, and sports enthusiasts from across the Africa continent.

Interested journalists are invited to register for media accreditation by completing a Google Form, which can be accessed via this link:

The registration form will require basic information, including name, publication/media house, contact details, photograph, and areas of coverage interest.

Media accreditation will enable registered journalists to access exclusive coverage opportunities, including press conferences, interviews with athletes and officials, and photo opportunities. Accredited journalists will also receive a special media pass, which will grant them access to the game venue.

While the National Sports Commission through the Media sub committee for the championships will love to accommodate every applicant for Accreditation, it is however very important to inform all intending applicants that registration for Accreditation does not automatically guarantee approval of such Application.

The Media sub Committee of the championships therefore urges every applicant to respond swiftly to this announcement.

The third combined U18/U20 Africa Athletics championship is a biennial athletics event in Africa, showcasing the continent’s rich sporting talent and promoting intercontinental unity.
