Victor Osimhen would be heading to Saudi side Al Hilal in the summer, Italian journalist Ivan Zazzaroni has claimed.
Al Hilal have offered a mouth-watering $46m a year salary for the Super Eagles striker in face of interest from Galatasaray where he went on loan last season, scoring 37 goals from 41 appearances to help Galatasaray win a Turkey double.
But according to Zazzaroni Osimhen at the end of the transfer window will coach Simone Inzaghi who had insisted on having the striker.
“I can tell you it’s practically done, Osimhen will join Al-Hilal,” Zazzaroni told Radio Kiss Kiss via TMW.
“Nobody else can match that offer, not even half… $46m per season is astonishing, out of the market. He didn’t want to go for the Club World Cup, but Al-Hilal are very confident. That’s it. Galatasaray can’t even afford to pay half of that fee. There are no offers from the Premier League. It would be surprising if he doesn’t go there.”
However, it was also claimed that Liverpool have been in talks with Osimhen. According to TeamTalk reports Napoli desperate to recoup their spending on Osimhen are not keen on the Reds offer of two players, but Arne Slot still looking for a potent striker is not giving up yet.
