According to reports in Turkey, the incident took place on April 27, 2025, while he was away on a trip from his base in Üsküdar, but, noticed the watch was missing when he returned on April 29.
In his complaint, Osayi- Samuel pointed accusing fingers at the lady identified as Ayşenur O.
“We met at a club, had fun, and then went to my house in Üsküdar,” he said. “She stayed until 8:00am, and I left the country later that day. When I came back on April 29, I noticed my watch was missing. I believe she took it.
However, Ayşenur O. denied the allegation.
She told the police, “We’ve been friends for 3–4 months. Yes, we went to his place briefly to pick up a suitcase, then went straight to the airport. I didn’t see any watch and didn’t steal anything.”
She also said that Osayi-Samuel only messaged her about the missing watch a month and a half later, and she even offered to go to the police with him to clear her name. She volunteered to share their WhatsApp chats with investigators as proof.
The Turkish police are currently investigating the case to unravel the truth.
