Katy Perry...Emotions

Katy Perry made an emotional return to the stage for the first time since the news of her split from Orlando Bloom.
On Monday, June 30, the “Roar” singer, 40, appeared to fight back tears onstage during the last show of her Lifetimes World Tour in Adelaide, Australia.
In a clip posted on X, Perry — who also experienced an equipment malfunction during the show — looked teary-eyed as she stood onstage towards the end of the show with her arms raised above her head while making a heart shape with her hands.
“Thank you for always being there for me Australia. It means the world,” the singer said. Perry then gathered herself as she added, “Now let’s sing ‘Firework!’ ”
Perry’s performance comes days after the news of her split with Bloom, 48, broke. Their split was confirmed by PEOPLE on June 26. The pair previously got engaged in 2019 and share 4½-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
As Perry performed in Australia on Monday, Bloom took to his Instagram Stories to repost some inspiring quotes following their breakup. “Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most,” he reposted from @taomeditiation, a saying attributed to Gautama Buddha. Peoples report
