Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, a.k.a 2Baba, has denied that he is out of money after he stopped making music for a while now.
Speaking in a recent episode of the +234 Mzansi Podcast co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu, the ‘African Queen’ hitmaker clarified that he isn’t broke as reported.
“I’m not broke. I invested my money. I can live with or without music,” the singer said.
He has investments in real estate, a record label, and the hospitality industry.
Meanwhile, 2baba has expressed frustration over his never-ending drama with his former labelmate, Blackface.
“I’ve always shown him respect, but he has always been out there to smear my name. They are absurd, ridiculous and very painful at times. And, till today, I just wonder why? That’s the only thing I have in my head. What’s the reason, it’s just ridiculous.”
