Victor Osimhen...taking his time

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand said it would be a shame if United allowed Galatasaray to sign Victor Osimhen for $68m, which according to him is peanuts for a world class striker of his calibre.
Manchester United are one of the many clubs that have been linked to the Super Eagles top striker who did well in his loan spell with Galatasaray. According to Ferdinand, United will have nothing to lose if they spend big on the striker.
Osimhen has agree terms with the Turkish side he helped to win a domestic double last season, but so far Galatasaray are struggling to meet Napoli’s $88m release clause. According to reports in Italy, Gala has up to July 15 to meet up.
Speaking on the transfer saga Ferdinand said: “I’m like a broken record. If anyone listens to my podcast, I’ve said Osimhen for a while now. He’s a centre-forward, he’s experienced, he knows how to score goals at the top level.
“I’ve seen that Galatasaray have put a £50 million bid in. I mean, £50m to get a top-class striker, one of the top strikers in the world, is absolute peanuts in today’s market. I’ll be disappointed if he goes to Galatasaray for that type of money when Man United are crying out for a No.9.”
