Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has warned striker Victor Osimhen of regrets to come if he misses joining the Premier League this season.
Once again Osimhen’s transfer is shrouded in uncertainty as the several Premier League clubs linked to him developed could feet and it seems he is most likely to remain in Turkey with Galatasaray, where he spent last season on loan.
This itself is under threat as Napoli his club wants the Turkish champions to pay the $88m release clause in one go and not in five installments as suggested by Galatasaray in the latestest negotiations.
Writing on his X social media page Wednesday Oliseh offered this advise: “Victor Osihmen is at a very delicate crossroad.
“He needs to find his way to the premier league in a hurry or he risks so much regret! Man. United and Arsenal need this player if only…”
Galatasaray have until July 15 to seal the deal or Osimhen would be force to accept a Saudi offer which is on the table and it does favour Napoli as Al Hilal are ready with the cash to pay at one go. But Osimhen has ruled out moving to Saudi Arabia despite the $46m a year salary offered him.
