Ademola Lookman’s move to Inter Milan from Atalanta is slow walking to uncertainty as the Bergamo based club is not willing to come down on their €50m demand for the player.
This is just as Inter and Lookman have agreed on personal terms that will see the Super Eagles striker earn €4 million per season.
But according to reports by SkySport, Inter are refusing to increase their €40 million bid for the player, they are hoping somewhere along the line Atalanta will come to the table and negotiate.
Inter are convinced their offer for Lookman is fair.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausillio said on the deal: “It’s no secret, we are interested. We’ve spoken with Atalanta and made our expectations clear. We want to sign Lookman and Atalanta will be the ideal partner, regardless of our interests or the player’s wishes.
“If we can’t make it happen, we’ll look for alternatives.”
