Nigeria’s Super Falcons Tuesday beat the Bayana Bayana of South Africa to reach the final of the Women Africa Cup of Nations.
Rasheedat Ajibade and Michelle Alozie were on the scoresheet in a game the Super Falcons dominated but failed to make the South Africans suffer more.
In the 42nd minute Bambanani Mbane handled the ball in the box and after lengthy VAR check Rashidat Ajibade dispatched the ball past the stretched hands of Bayana Bayana keeper Karabo Dhlamini.
In the 58 minute Oluwatosin Demenhin fouled Hilda Magaia and Linda Mothalo beat Chiamaka Nnadozie in goal.
In the 94th minute Alozie blasted in the last goal of the match from a free kick to send the Super Falcons into the final.
