Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a Portable, said N100m is too small a price for to face Martins Otse a.k.a VeryDarkMan (VDM) in a boxing ring, rather a much higher fee of ₦1 billion would be ideal.
Music executive Soso Soberekon had reportedly put down N120m for VDM a social activist and Portable to settle their on going rift in the boxing ring. The winner goes home with N100m and loser N20m.
But reacting on his Instagram Portable said: “That ₦100m, my fans give it to me. ₦100m is small for me to fight VDM. Let them give me one billion, I will fight him and beat him.
“If anybody can drop ₦1bn, I will fight him. Someone you can’t arrest, you are now asking me to fight and beat him. You are scared of him, you can’t jail him?”
Their beefing started when Portable knocked VDM for being too critical of President Bola Tinubu’s regime.
The duo have since been going head to head, releasing diss tracks aimed at each other as they respond and counter each other’s claims in their ongoing online battle.
