Social activist Martins Otse a.k.a VeryDarkMan, said music executive Soso Soberekon disrespected him by offering him N120m to fight singer Habeeb Okikiola a.k.a Portable in a boxing contest.
VDM and Portable have been engaged in a diss war over Nigerian political matters and Soso thought it will be good if they settle it in the boxing ring.
But according to VDM he will fight if Soso can put $500,000 first on the table before negotiations for the fight can begin.
“It’s disrespectful for you Soso to come around and offer me to fight for N100m.
“Last year I turned down an offer of $100,000 to fight 50 Cent.
“N100m is an insulting offer. If Soso really wants to get this thing he has to put $500k on the table and then we can talk. This is a fight Soso can make a lot of money and so offering N100m is not a big thing; that can’t even buy you “risers” in Abuja.
“Soso should be ready to spend $900,000 and then we can bear the insult and face Portable.
“For a start he can bring all his ‘Babalawos’ and I will allow him five punches in any part of my body after that the real fight can begin.”
