German side Hoffenheim have prepared Nigerian-born striker Gift Orban for a loan move to the French Lig 1.
Orban who joined the club in January 2025 has fallen out favour with the coach Christian Ilzer’s and he is forth in his picking order. While with team Orban scored four goals from 13 league games.
According to reports by Kicker Orban is negotiation a deal with French side FC Toulouse. But if that fails Hoffenheim may still keep him as a recent injury to Czech striker Adam Hlozek might mean that Orban is needed. A stay still seems unlikely. Orban was not in the squad for Hoffenheim’s 0-4 away win over Hansa Rostock in the opening round of the DFB Pokal Saturday.
