Striker Victor Boniface faces a long wait for AC Milan to decide whether to sign him or not after undergoing a series of medical test between Friday and Saturday in Milan.
According to AC Milan director Igli Tare, the Serie A giants are yet to take a final decision on signing Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen on season long loan with an option to buy.
“There were no extra medicals,” Tare told DAZN Italia.
“We knew that he had problems in the past, we are evaluating everything as planned with regards to the health and fitness of the player.
“His qualities are undoubted. We are just trying to make the right decision for this situation.”
“Obviously, soon the transfer deadline will be coming up.
“We will discuss it with the coach and make a final decision. We’re not putting pressure on ourselves with a deadline.”
Boniface is now hoping that this deal will work out for him, or he would be back to Bayer Leverkusen where coach Erik Ten Hag has no plan for him.
During the January transfer window, a move to Saudi Arabia did not materialise after terms were agreed with Al Nassr.
