Gangling striker Tolu Arokodare has agreed terms with English Premier League side Wolves, and it is now left for his Belgium club Genk to agree to a deal.
Wolves are reported to be preparing a bid and are hopeful of bringing the Super Eagles player to the Premier League. Genk and Wolves have been in talks. Genk are looking for around £21.5 million.
Arokodare an imposing striker standing at 6.6ft was linked to several clubs this summer following his exploits with Genk. He enjoyed a standout 2024/25 season for Genk, finishing as the top scorer in the Belgian topflight. He has featured in all their games so far this season.
He scored 17 goals in 30 league appearances and played a key role in Genk’s attacking success. He scored 23 goals and seven assists in all competitions. His form also earned him his first call-up to the Nigerian national team, marking an important milestone in his career.
