Annie Macaulay...feeling free

Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay said she has been healed from the bitter experience of losing her husband Innocent Idibia a.k.a 2Baba and other experiences and would not want her daughter to go through the same.
Annie Macaulay poured her heart out on Instagram: “I hope my daughter doesn’t accept things I’ve accepted, that she knows her worth from the start and knows that no matter what, she always has me in her corner.
“If you see me happy these days, let me be. I fought battles you’ll never know just to feel this free,” she shared.
She emphasised the importance of growth and resilience, adding, “I don’t revisit what I healed from. Every wound she ever survived became another jewel in her crown.”
According to her, she wants to enjoy this newfound happiness without interference, stating that she’s fought battles that others may not be aware of.
“If you see me happy these days, let me be. I fought battles you’ll never know just to feel this free”, she wrote.
Annie emphasised the importance of moving forward and not dwelling on past hurts, but rather focusing on personal growth, viewing past wounds as experiences that have contributed to her strength and resilience.
“I don’t revisit what I healed from. Every wound she ever survived became another jewel in her crown”, she said.
