Lookman... back in good terms with Atalanta

Ademola Lookman and his club Atalanta seem to have kissed and made up after feuding in August over failed transfer.
Lookman returned to training with the first team on Tuesday after staying away from the squad since August when his request to leave the club and join Inter Milan failed to materialise. He is likely to kick his first ball of the season for Atalanta against Torino in a Serie A tie on Sunday.
Moreso Atalanta are facing injury crisis after Giorgio Scalvini picked up a muscle strain in their 4-0 defeat to Paris St Germain in a Champions League tie on Wednesday. Scalvini will be out for a couple of weeks, and Charles De Ketelaere is a major doubt for Sunday’s game.
Atalanta Coach Ivan Juric said he is open to welcoming Lookman back into the team following the injury concerns facing the squad.
“We are missing four very big players,” Juric said. “I think when we get everyone back, Atalanta can be competitive again.”
Captain Marten De Roon has also expressed the team’s willingness to welcome Lookman back once the standoff ends.
“He didn’t bother us. I don’t want to waste too much time. We’re focusing on the team and who’s there. We’re always here, and I think there will always be an opening for Lookman,” De Roon said.
