South African preacher Joshua Mhlakela is cork sure that the “Rapture” – marking the end of the world after Jesus’s return to earth – is going to take place between September 23-24.
His prohecy shared on YouTube has Christians torn between believing and preparing themselves for the event.
Mhlakela speaking on the Cettwinz TV YouTube channel, Mhlakea said in a video that has gone viral: “The Rapture is upon us. Whether you are ready or not.
“I saw Jesus sitting on his throne. And I could hear him very loud and clear saying, ‘I am coming soon.’
“He said to me on the 23rd and 24th of September 2025, ‘I will come back to the Earth.’”
People on social media really seem to have taken to the idea the “rapture” is coming, resulting in “RaptureTok”, with hundreds of videos of folks on TikTok giving “rapture tips” and wondering if their dogs are allowed to come with them if they get bundled off Earth to heaven by Jesus.
