As fans and victims US rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs rage await his sentencing by US District Judge Arun Subramanianon October 3, his mother Janice Combs has begged for mercy.
According to Jance Combs though her son has “made terrible mistakes in his life” the judge should have hand him a light sentence because he has suffered enough.
The Bad Boy records executive was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, which could each carry up to 10 years in prison. However, Diddy could get five or four years depending on what the prosecution recommends. He has already done a year behind bars while his trial lasted.
“Unfortunately, my son has made some terrible mistakes in his life, which I know he recognises ,” Janice Combs wrote in the letter obtained by E! News, ”
“I will never excuse any wrongdoing committed by Sean I was always very strict with him growing up. I appeal to the kindness of your heart to allow my son to be able to sit at a dinner table with his family.
“To allow him to raise his children and to instill in them the need to be respectful, get an education and just be God’s children with love in their hearts.” The 84-year-old also referenced how four of Diddy’s kids-Quincy, 34, King, 27, and twins Jessie and D’lila, 18, lost their mom Kim Porter in 2018.”
“And in a final plea, Janice explained that her health “has deteriorated these last couple of years” due to two brain surgeries and her diabetes, which has affected her heart.
“I don’t know how much longer I will be around,” she added, “but I would love to be able to see him and his children together again.”
