Davido is the only Afrobeats “Big 3” not in the top five of the Spotify top five Afrobeats Artist for 2025.
Five Nigeria artists make the top five of the streaming platforms for Afrobeats across the world. Burna Boy is rated number 1 in the list released September 29, 2025. Rema occupies the second spot, Wizkid third place, while Asake and Ayra Starr are fourth and fifth.
Spotify also revealed the countries streaming Afrobeats the most in 2025. The United States came first, followed by Brazil, France, the United Kingdom, Germany and Nigeria.
The report further confirmed Nigeria’s role as the heartbeat of Afrobeats while showing how the genre continues to expand its global reach.
