Afrobeats singer, Ayodeji Balogun, a.k.a Wizkid, has made himself the number one artist.
The singer posted a photo of a whiteboard on his Instagram story with the words, “Type sht. Big Wiz. Number 1.”*
The post comes amid the ongoing social media comparisons among fans of Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, who are often referred to as Nigeria’s “Top 3.”
Wizkid’s message is being viewed by many as his way of asserting dominance in the long-running debate that labels Davido as 001 and Burna Boy as 002.
The post has since generated buzz online, with fans of the three Afrobeats stars exchanging views over who truly deserves the number one spot.
Recently singer Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, a.k.a Seyi Shay, described Wizkid as a creative genius a magician who conjure songs.
