The 2020/23 European football league season begins in earnest this weekend and to mark the kick-off, the Ojez entertainment group will kick-start the day with the Rep your club, Ojez jersey day parade.
Usual title contenders Liverpool will start their season at Fulham, Chelsea are away to Everton and perhaps Nigerian fans would love to see Super Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi make his English Premier League debut with Nottingham Forest. They travel to Newcastle for their baptism of fire.
On Sunday, defending champions Manchester City will tackle the Hammers in East London. Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi will play host to Super Eagles compatriot Fred Onyeka, when Brentford visit Leicester at the King Power Stadium.
“It is going to be an interesting day, as usual we have a long list of activities to mark it,” said Don Pedro Aganbi the chief organiser.
“There would be prizes for predict and win, live commentary and other side attractions.”
The event will unfold at the Ojez Sports Cafe and Nightclub Railway Recreation, Ondo Street Ebute Meta Lagos.
