Striker Victor Osimhen has proven his worth after Turkey giants Galatasaray pulled all the stops to sign him from Napoli in the summer.
After a long-drawn negotiation with Napoli and a hefty €75m transfer fee, Galatasaray finally had on a permanent basis the man who helped them to a double last season. Following Osimhen’s goal scoring display for club and country so far this season, there are speculations, clubs who didn’t wanted him in the summer would be back for him.
But according to Galatasaray president, Dursan Ozbek, Osimhen would be staying in Istanbul for a long time.
“Osimhen’s contract doesn’t include an exit clause,” he said during a sponsorship press conference on Friday.
“He’s an extremely successful player who will serve Galatasaray for many years to come.”
