Real Madrid top striker Vinicius wants to leave the Spanish LaLiga side, following his substitution by coach Xabi Alonso Sunday’s El Clasico 2-1 win against Barcelona
The Brazilian was replaced late in the game by Alonso sparking a furious reaction. According to reports by AS the relationship between Vinicius and Alonso is at ‘maximum tension.’
Vinicius said to one of Real’s assistant coaches: “Always me. I’m leaving the team, it’s better if I leave, I’m leaving.”
Vinicius has generally been one of Real ‘s biggest stars during his time there. In 335 games for the club he has 111 goals and 87 assists to his name.
He has five goals and four assists so far in the season but was dropped to the bench against Getafe on October 19.
Alonso responded by saying: “I focus on a lot of positive things in the game, and positive things from Vini. We’ll talk about [his reaction], of course.”
On the clashes after the final whistle, Alonso said: “I interpret it with normality. We don’t have to make too much of it.
“It’s the tension of the moment, for them and us. These scuffles have always happened.”
