Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has decried the use of the Nigeria police and the justice system by Senator Ned Nwoko to seek revenge against Regina Daniels after she ended her marriage to the politician.
Regina Daniels’s brother Samuel Ojeagwu, was reportedly arrested in Lagos and transported to Abuja on the instruction of Senator Ned Nwoko.
“The worst form of injustice is pretended justice. A child was arrested, no one can or has been allowed to see him for two days, he was flown from Lagos to Abuja and is allegedly being taken to court from the airport…how did we get here? Nigeria…wow #whereissamuel #freesamuelojeagwu,” Mercy Johnson wrote on her Instagram.
Also, Regina Daniels called for the immediate release of her brother.
“Finally, some people now have a video that can make them think they can mock me, chai! But it’s okay. My entire focus right now is to know the whereabouts of my brother. WHERE IS SAMMY NED!!!” she wrote.
“Imagine one of the highest authorities in the police force, or if not the highest, saying his hands are tied! Like, ogini bu ihe!” she lamented.
The actress, however, vowed not to be intimidated, saying the issue had now become a battle of strength and willpower.
“Now this fight is going to be power for power, or rather aura for aura. It’s such a pity. #FreeSammy. For the record, I don’t regret anything. Na only I carry my leg, but this was a route I was meant to take, not my final destination,” she declared.
