Late world acclaimed singer and dancer Michael Jackson’s fans are now looking forward to the release of his long-awaited biopic after they were given a teaser by the producers.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua, Michael teaser, a film on the life of the King of Pop will be out April 2026 with Jaafar Jackson playing the leading role. Jaafar is the son of Jamaine Jackson, one of the Jacksons brothers closer to Michael.
The minute-long teaser of the film gave fans a sneak peek and the scene was where Michael and Quincy Jones (played by Kendrick Sampson) prepare to release Thriller his bestselling album of all time. And Jaafar fitted well into the role of playing his famous uncle.
“I know you’ve been waiting a long time for this. The tracks are made; the songs are ready. Let’s take it from the top. … This is your story,” says Sampson as images of Jackson flash by in quick succession.
The film tells the story of Michael Jackson’s life beyond the music, tracing his journey from the discovery of his extraordinary talent as the lead of the Jackson Five, to the visionary artist whose creative ambition fueled a relentless pursuit to become the biggest entertainer in the world.
