Chelsea’s Brazilian import Estevao Willian, has complained about the cold weather conditions in England to his coach.
The 18-year-old Estevao who was the standout player in Chelsea’s 2-2 Champions League draw with Qarabag on Wednesday is finding London too cold for his comfort and in order to keep him coach Enzo Maresca plans to give him a regular start in the Premier League starting with their match against Wolves on Saturday.
Estavao has not started any league match since September spending more time on the bench
“He’s ready to start,’ Maresca said of using Estevao in the Premier League.
“For sure, he’s ready to start. We just try to do the best for Estevao. We are helping him in terms of adapt to England.
“Last week he was complaining about it being cold. Last week was still October. Imagine December, January! He has to adapt. He’s happy. He’s doing fantastic. For sure he’s a talented player for this club.”
The weather in London is expected to get colder in the months of December and January with temperature expected to drop to as low as eight-degree centigrade, Estavao would be needing extra blankets then.
