Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi started a fire on social media after he posted a photo he took from the team’s hotel room window in Rabat Morocco.
Iwobi was probably looking for a good view when he and others arrived on Sunday but saw through his window adjacent buildings with clothes hanging everywhere. He posted his frustrations.
And fans seize upon the video on Instagram. While some questioned Iwobi for posting on social media instead of concentrating on the playoffs coming up on Thursday against Gabaon, others wondered why the team should be lodged in a hotel in the rundown area of the town.
Iwobi was forced to address the issue saying that he didn’t make any complaint about the hotel: “I didn’t say anything; I just showed the video.”
Meanwhile the Nigeria Football Federation said the Rive in Rabat, Morocco, a four star-hotel was chosen because of its proximity to the Stadium and where the Super Eagles will be training ahead of the playoffs.
