Afrobeats super star Damini Ogulu a.k.a Burna Boy is still dealing with aftermath of throwing a sleeping woman out his concert in Denver USA.
While performing he had caught sight of the woman later identified as Chaltu Jateny sleeping. Burna Boy stopped singing and promised not to resume until she and her boyfriend leave.
This sparked a storm online with rapper Eminem adding his voice to those who knocked Burna Boy over the incident. The famous American rapper wrote on Instagram: “Yo, this is not cool.”
Chaltu Jateny herself gave reasons why she was dozing off, she claimed to have been tired out by the loss of a relative and chastised Burna Boy for his lack of empathy.
However, Burna Boy writing on Instagram responded to the jibes.
“I will gladly be cancelled if we are now in a world where you can treat me like a stripper, slap my a** and tell me to keep dancing ’cuz you throw $100 at me,” he wrote.
And to Eminem he added: “I’ve seen people who NEVER even acknowledged my existence before now posting ‘This is not cool’ or writing think-pieces on me now.”
Meanwhile Burna Boy has promised to make coffee available free at future gigs.
His offer has sparked an online excited by his fans. Burna Boy said the gesture is keep everyone awake and energised.
