After his exciting performance against Manchester City Tuesday night Samuel Chukwueze is open to making his loan moved to Fulham permanent in the summer.
Chukwueze scored twice in Fulham’s 5-4 loss to City in a game they almost recorded one of the greatest come backs in the Premier League history having been down 5-1. Chukweze in seven Premier League games has now scored two goals and made three assists.
Chukwueze, 26, is enjoying a new lease of football life in London after a dry spell at AC Milan and happy to be with Super Eagles colleagues Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, Chukweze is eager to extend his stay beyond May 2026.
Chuwkueze’s recent displays have captured the attention of the Fulham fans and the player is determined to make the most of his opportunity to break into English football.
“I am very happy with him. He had a good impact on the game and I’m very pleased for him. I would have preferred to have had Chukwueze earlier in pre-season,” said Fulham coach Marco Silva.
Milan are happy to sell Chukwueze but would command a fee of around £20million.
