A youth holding on to the crucifix and surrounding by burning fire at a Swiss ski bar escaped unscathed, leaving many perplexed.
The youth was trapped in the burning building with no escape route, he sat down in the middle of the room, holding to his crucifix with fire blazing all around him, but somehow the fire did not get to where he was seated.
According to a witness to the miracle Laetitia Place the youth later found an opened window and he manage to escape from the burning building.
“A friend of mine couldn’t get out and he just sat down and held his cross in his hand,” Ms. Place said.
“He survived, thankfully. He managed to get out, and he broke a window to escape. And the fire just avoided him. The fire just didn’t touch him.
“I just want to thank the Lord for saving me, and I just want to ask him to save my friends who are missing, because it’s horrible, because I miss them.”
The New Year eve fire outbreak, which started at about 12.30 GMT in the basement of ‘Le Constellation’, a popular venue located in the centre of the Alpine town of Crans-Montana, Switzerland. It was caused by an explosion in the basement of the building and quickly spread to the top floor.
At least 47 people believed to have perished in the blaze, which injured a further 115.
