Nollywood actress Regina Daniel was lucky to have walked away from her estranged husband Ned Nwoko when she did in October 2025.
This was because Regina Daniel was already sliding into ill health due to alleged substance abuse and mental torture of having her youth stolen away by a man old enough to be her grandfather.
A reliable source who witnessed part of the drama that was unfolding before Regina Daniel cried out, disclosed that Regina Daniels could have died a premature death if she had stay on for a few months and endured the agony she was going through.
“Though Regina Daniel famously said, “I’d rather cry in a Lamborghini than laugh in a Keke,” unknown to many of her fans, she was dying slowly. Her legs were swollen at some point, which is a sign of kidney distress, from the injections and ingestions of substances.
“She was just a naive young lady who had her youth stolen away and coupled with the fact she was practically locked up at home doing nothing, but to satisfy a sexual desire, things caught up with her.
“Regina Daniel is lucky to have left, now she has the opportunity to rebuild her life, she is still young, she’s made tons of money being a billionaire’s wife and she has 20 good years ahead of her.”
The former Nollywood child star met Ned Nwoko a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria when she was just 17 years old. They have two sons together.
One October 2025 night, Regina Daniel cried out in a social media outburst she couldn’t take anymore of Ned Nwoko’s abuse and would rather go back to family and be queen. In return Senator Nwoko accused her of being under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Both parties are still at each other’s throats. Only last week Regina Daniel accused her former lover of framing her up with allegations of a $40,000 theft, just to get at her and her family.
