Kayode Adeniyi...facing the rap for driving that killed Joshua's friends.

Kayode Adeniyi,46, who was behind the wheels when former world heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua and his friends suffered a fatal car crash in December appeared Tuesday at a Magistrates Court in Sagamu, Ogun state.
Joshua and Adeniyi survived the crash which occurred along the Lagos-Ibadan express was near Sagamu. But Joshua’s associates Latif Ayodele, and Sina Ghami, died on the spot when the SUV they were travelling collided with a stationary lorry. Joshua was treated in hospital for his injuries.
Mr. Adeniyi was arrest and charge to court on charges of reckless driving causing death and driving without a valid license. He was granted bail in the sum of N5m.
At Tuesday’s hearing the prosecution told the court they needed more time to gain legal advice. The case was subsequently adjourned till February 25, 2026.
Meanwhile Joshua shared image of himself returning to the gym after mourning the passage of his friends who were also his trainers.
