Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has acknowledged that Galatasaray have players like Victor Osimhen, Leroy Sane and others who can wreck any team as the Turkish champions visit the Etihad Stadium for Wedneday’s Champions League tie.
Osimhen has six Champions League goals to his credit this season and just returning from the African Cup of Nations where he banged in four goals, he would be looking to show his class once more at the big stage.
“The quality they have. Osimhen is a top-class player. They link with him. Leroy [Sane] and both wingers are so quick. Gundo, Lemina, are experienced players,” Guardiola said ahead of the game.
“Galatasaray are one of the biggest clubs and they always have good players. We have to make an incredible effort with our fans.”
Manchester City currently sit 11th on the league table and require victory to boost their chances of finishing in the top eight, which would secure automatic qualification for the Round of 16.
Galatasaray, meanwhile, are placed 17th and will also be chasing all three points as they look to strengthen their position and keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive.
