Emmanuel Dennis will not be part of the Super Eagles squad for next week’s international friendly against the Desert Foxes of Algeria in Oran.
According to his club Nottingham Forest, the player who was a replacement for injured Henry Onyekuru will not be available due to injury.
But his team Taiwo Awoniyi is in camp with 24 other players who were invited by coach Jose Poseiro. The team had their first training this morning with almost all the regulars present except of course the injury hampered ones like Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Onyekuru and Ahmed Musa.
Speaking on the match ahead Poseiro was positive that the team will make good use of the one week training before taking on the Algerians who beat the Super Eagles 2-1 in the semi-final of the 2018 African Cup of Nations on their way to winning their second title that year.
