Nigeria’s highly rated songstress, Temilade Openiyi a.k.a Tems has been overjoyed by her nomination for the Golden Globes Award for ‘Best Original Song’.
Marvel Studio revealed the nominations Tuesday on its Twitter handle: “Congratulations to Tems, Rihanna, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson for their Golden Globe Nomination for Best Original Song! #WakandaForever #GoldenGlobes.”
And Tems was like: “My God!! this one is too much,”
Released on November 4, the song ‘Lift me up’ is a tribute to actor Chadwick Boseman, who died after a long battle with cancer. Tems has won half a dozen awards for her works this year alone.
