Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate Abubakar Atiku and his rival at the PDP primaries for the ticket , Nyesom Wike, have been meeting in Abuja to end their feud.

The former vice President and the Rivers State governor had traded words after they contested PDP primaries in Abuja. Atiku emerged won and picked Delta State governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate a development that also irked Wike.

It was gathered that the two men met at the residence of Jerry Gana a former Ministers of Information and according to a PDP source the meeting was an attempt to mend fences, so that the party can move forward with a united force.

“Atiku and Wike met this (Thursday afternoon) at the residence of Jerry Gana. It was a good meeting, from what I gathered.

“They exchange pleasantries and they have resolved to move the reconciliation to the next stage.”

“This will lead to a certain level and they can now resolve all the issues,”said the source.
