Marc Cucurella said he will consider cutting his hair, following incidence of hair pulling in Chelsea’s heated Premier League match against Tottenham on Sunday.
Injury time Tottenham’s Cristian Romero had pulled down Cucurrella by grabbing his hair in the build-up the Tottenham’s equalising goal. Referee Anthony Taylor did not blow for foul and that cranked up Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel.
He was asked if he would cut the hair to avoid more of such incident and he simply replied: “”No, never. This is my style!”Cucurella told reporters, adding that hair pulling should be a foul.
“Yes. For me it is too clear in the game, on the pitch.
“I didn’t see it on the TV, the video. I think it’s very clear but this is one error of the referee or VAR. Sometimes the referees have good decisions, sometimes not.”
