Turkish side are in negotiations with Leicester City to sign striker Kelechi Iheanacho on loan for the rest of the season. Also an option for a permanent deal is on the table.
The Super Eagles striker was on the bench as the Foxes suffered a 1-2 loss to visiting Southhampton in Saturday’s English Premier League tie. It’s a familiar role Iheanacho has been playing at Leicester and he could be attracted by the offer to play regular football in Turkey.
Reports in Turkish media suggest that talks have reached an advanced stage for the transfer of Iheanacho who joined Leicester in August 2017 from Manchester City in a over €27m deal. But he has constantly played second fiddle to top striker Jamie Vardy.
