Rapper Ice Prince will remain in prison custody till October 24, when the hearing on his ‘assaulting a policeman on duty’ comes up again.
A Lagos magistrate court sitting in Ajah, Lagos state, ordered that Panshak Zamani real name be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre after Wednesday’s hearing into the case was adjourned H. O. Omisore, the trial judge.
The Rapper famous for his hit song ‘Oleku’ was arrested on September 2 after allegedly assaulting a policeman who stopped him for driving an unmarked vehicle at about 3.am of that day.  He was arraigned on a three-count charge bordering on assault, obstructing a policeman from carrying out its statutory duties, and abduction.
When the case came up for hearing Wednesday, the police prosecuting team requested for adjournment since two witnesses crucial to the case were absent.
