Napoli could be without their top striker Victor Osimhen for up to five weeks after medical tests confirmed a second-degree lesion on his right femoral bicep.
The Club said Friday that Osimhen has already begun his recovery program. The Super Eagles striker could not continue the Champions League game against Liverpool on Wednesday he was replaced in the 42nd minute. Napoli won 4-1 but the injury to Osimhen was a major concern for the club.
Napoli did not reveal the striker’s recovery time, but Osimhen won’t be available again for Napoli until the September break and according to Calciomercato.com, he could remain out of action for up to five weeks.
