Enyimba coach Finidi George is dreaming of winning another Nigeria Professional Football League title after his side beat Bayelsa United 2-1 Thursday at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
He said Enyimba will strive to maintain the momentum and improve on their chances of winning their 10th league title at the end of the season.
“It’s important to win as we have lost a few points at home but coming here to win is fantastic,” he said in a post-match interview.
“Defending the title, we have played all the tough teams but we will definitely give it a try.”
Enyimba last week had played a 1-1 draw against Rangers in Aba in a game they missed a couple of chances needed to win and improve on their points haul closing up the gap with league leaders Remo Stars who are on 29 points, while Enyimba is 4th on the log with 26 points.
