Super Eagles top striker Victor Osimhen, has recovered from the abdominal discomfort that prevented him from travelling with the rest of the team to Bouke where they will tackle South Africa’s Bafana Bafan in Wednesday’s Africa Cup of Nations semi final.
Osimhen arrived at Bouke Tuesday afternoon after being given an all clear by the medical team, he joined in the evening training at the Stade Annexe, Bouake.
Team medics performed their final tests and took the decision that he is available for the encounter.
The Napoli top striker has been a major contributor to the Super Eagles progress so far. Though he has not banged in the goals as expected, his presence up front for the Eagles is a nightmare to their opponents.
His only goal was against Equatorial Guinea in the group A pairing, what could have been his second goal was cruely chalked off in their quarter final game against Angola. He was marginally offside, the disallowed goal rattled him a little bit.
