The wife of wanted Binance executive Nadeem Anjarwalla has denied reports that her husband has been arrested by the Kenya police and could be extradited to Nigeria.
Several media reports in Nigerian said Anjarwalla, who escaped from custody in Abuja and fled on a second passport has been arrested in Kenya. But according to CoinDesk a spokesperson for Anjarwalla’s wife his arrest in Kenya and his extradition are false.
Anjarwalla and other Binance executive, Tigran Gambaryan were detained by the office of the National Security Adviser on suspicion of money laundering, manipulating the local exchange rate and tax evasion.
 Gambaryan who was arraigned before a Federal High Court in Abuja, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
EFCC Chairman, Ola Olukuyede, had in a statement in March, said that the Commission is collaborating with INTERPOL, the US, UK, Northern Ireland and Kenyan authorities to extradite Anjarwalla.
