Afrobeats star, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido has set a time line for his retirement from music.
Writing on his X page Thursday night, Davido indicated that some guys wanted him out of the industry, adding that he would do just that after dropping his next album.
This is coming on the heels of his social media spat with Ayodele Balogun a.k.a Wizkid with fans of both artists joining in the fray. Davido was also piqued by blogs casting him in a bad light.

Davido, a rich kid by all standards burst into limelight in 2012 with his hit song “Dami Duro” and went on to establish himself as a global super star with sold out concerts. His latest album “Timeless” fetched him a Grammy Award Nomination in the 2023 Awards.
However, he would be keeping in touch with DWM 2.0 his record label, which has the likes of Mayorkun, Dremo, Perruzzi Morravey and Logos Olori. Davido established the label in April 2016.
