Nigerian-born dancer, Anita Obidi a.k.a Korra Obidi, has survived an acid and a knife attack in the United Kingdom.
Korra Obidi who posted details of the attack on her Instagram page said she was assaulted while live streaming a performance Thursday, April 11, 2024.
“My face is burning, can I have some coke to wash it please,” Obidi cried out in pain.
She could be seen frantically washing her face with the coke to neutralise the burning effect of the acid.
Shortly after two police officers came on the scene to administer first aid.
Obidi asked members of the public for information on her attacker whom she described as black female of about five feet tall.
“Currently in an ambulance to the hospital, there was a knife, acid attack on me in the UK in the middle of a live stream.
“There’s been a lot of hate in the past but this physical assault is a wake up call,” Obidi noted in the video.
